Social responsibility and environmental awareness
Our commitment to innovation and quality goes hand in hand with our strong awareness of social responsibility and the protection of our environment. Even today, a large number of our lacquers can be produced as sustainable lacquers. We are members of various industry associations that are committed to sustainable practices and environmental protection. And every year, we support nature conservation and social projects with a financial donation.
Here is a selection of the latest projects:
Evangelische Kindertagesstätte Milse // October 2024
Our donation of 4,000 euros was used to purchase a mud facility. We are delighted that the children now have another fun play area in their outdoor area.
Harbker SV Turbine football club// Summer 2024
Our donation of 5,000 euros was used for the renovation of the main pitch, including the installation of a modern irrigation system and the repair of an unusable training pitch. We are delighted that we were able to support this project.
Football club TV-Friesen Milse // September 2023
With our donation of 15,000 euros, we were able to help the football department of TV “Friesen” Milse get a new artificial turf.
AEPN Mauretanienhilfe e.V. // September 2024
AEPN Mauretanienhilfe e.V. is a non-profit organization with the aim of supporting needy children and their families in Mauritania. AEPN is the abbreviation of “Association pour l’aide à l’enfance et aux parents nécessiteux” (translated: Association for the help of children and needy parents). In cooperation with a local partner, the AEPN runs a daycare center in Nouadhibou with afternoon care for children aged 3 to 14. The children receive warm meals, clothing and caring supervision. Our donation of 10,000 euros enabled the 13 employees to secure their wages for three months and thus continue their valuable work.
Förderverein Erongo Mountain Nature Sanctuary e.V. // 2024
The aim of the sanctuary is to restore the natural habitat of the animal species found in the Namibian Erongo Mountains. The black rhino in particular needs to be protected. In the ever-present fight against poaching, we have initiated our own Anti-Poaching Unit.
We are delighted to be able to make an important contribution to animal and nature conservation in Africa with our donation of 10,000 euros.
